We are your Patient Advocate
What is a Patient Advocate?
Patient advocates help patients in various ways. They are the first person you contact with when scheduling your arrangements or visiting the office.  The advocates makes sure your paper work is completed correctly during the check-in. They may ensure a patient sees the appropriate doctors; that treatment plans are being followed; and that the patient is taking advantage of all available treatment options. Advocates also coordinate care between doctors, if needed.  Advocates are responsible for filing insurance clams and ensuring
Your Patinet Centered Medical Home
Patient-centered means you will be surrounded by a dedicated team of health professionals working together to meet all of your individual health care needs.

As your primary care provider, I'm the most familiar with your health as a whole and will lead your team. The rest of the team includes other health care providers you already see or may need to see to maintain your optimal health.

Your team will be able to keep up with your health status at all times and will use technology like electronic medical records to communicate with each other and coordinate your care. When you get a lab test, for instance, everyone on the team will have access to the results therefore all of your team members will be on the same page at all time.

That level of familiarity is what medical home is meant to convey - we want you to feel "at home" with your health care. But we're not the only ones who are committed to staying on top of your health.

As the patient, you are the most important part of your health care team. We can only make recommendations; the power to decide if you will follow them is yours. So, as part of your health care team, we hope you will share the team's goal: to give yourself the best care possible. It's not difficult, but it is important. ·

Dr. Kelly Wimberly and her mid-level providers want to help you take responsibility for your health.

Meet The Office Staff
As the office manager at KWbly MD  Mark Reynolds is an energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats and monitoring the day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and time management. Mark is responsible for developing smooth intra-office communication between the patient, office staff, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, office staff supervision and task delegation.
At most healthcare providers patient care starts with the doctor visit.  At KWbly MD we believe that patient care starts with the first office interaction.  The interaction could be the initial appointment scheduling or the patient check-in.  We understand a bad experience with an office member can raise blood pressure or increase anxiety. While a calm voice and heartwarming smile from the office staff can relax and increase the personal bond between a patient and their doctor before the doctor is ever seen.
